Its been awhile since I last posted. sooo. HELLO! Did you miss me? I know you did. Well sadly, I'm not gonna be doing any reviews today. Okay well maybe a small one for you people. That would be at the end, if I remember to do it. Moving on.....

I graduated from SP just 3 days ago. Somehow I dont feel like I've achieved anything. At all. That's why I'm not as excited as I was when I saw my results that night. I was literally hopping around the room at 1am, after waking up from a nap since 1030pm. I had work the next day so I had to turn in early, wake up to look at my results, then sleep again. I won't really say much. Dissappointing? Not so. Awesome? Not so either. I guess I'm in the middle somewhere. The sad thing is, I cant move on to a university. And.. my mind's thoughts has been running since last night, when I had a discussion with my mum regarding my future career choices. There's too much to say and I'm kinda lazy to elongate my post any further then I'm expecting it to be. So that's all with regards for my results.

Next, work? Yeah.. I've been working for two weeks now. I'm working as an accounts person thingymajygy at ****. Been really tiring and rather stressful? stressful isn't the word. But they expect quite alot from me, seeing that I'm a part-time staff. We ALWAYS get the shittiest jobs. But I'm holding on. We have to go through hardship before we can fly high right?

That brings me to this topic. My mum now wants me to go to uni no matter what the cost, for the sole reason that, "paper means everything". Hierarchy system of the working world is super messed up, no joke. I mean.. They dont look at how much you know.
They dont look at what you're capable of doing at work(of course in terms of work).
They dont look at how many of the staff members actually look up to you whenever there're problems like.. undone work, problematic customers. OH NO.
They look at nothing BUT.
papers. You have the papers, you get the post.
No papers, your problem. Stay where you are. I'm speaking in terms of what I see and hear at and from people at work.
Did you know that the bosses of all the places I've gone to, to work, know NOTHING of the job scope?They have to ask US simpletons how to go about doing THEIR jobs. whuuut? Is that in any imaginable way fair?

So you're saying, all I have to do to get highly paid, enough to drive a lamborghini and live in a $15M apartment, is to just study my ass off since i started holding a pencil? hmmm.. sounds really fulfilling huh?
Well maybe there're hidden agendas and there are cases that people dont have papers and are still doing well. But how many people do YOU know have that experience? Out of every ten, tell me how many.
See what I'm getting at? Maybe my story is one-sided. Who knows? Cuz honestly I don't either. That's life :)

Apart from that, I've been talking to one of my conductors and he's willing to help me carve something. I'm reallyreally interested and willing to do alot of things to pursue my dream job. I know it won't be easy but do you think I'll have a fulfilling life, studying engineering? Okay, just so you know, I've learnt to LOATHE engineering eversince I started studying it. Wrong. Choice. Award. Of the century I swear. Let's see what I can do first yea. I'm still thinking hard about it.

Let's just move on to something more fun shall we? I bought the Zoom H1 just a few weeks back. So far its been really good. I dont think I can review where the buttons are and all. A little dumb dont you think?

Alright, the Zoom H1 is a rather efficient product. "Value for money"( I think? ) as they say. I didnt waste a single cent buying it, honestly.

You know what, just search Zoom H1 on youtube and listen to the quality of the sound. You'll be amazed at what this little bugger could do. Its slightly longer then an Iphone but not as wide. and slightly fatter too. yeaaaa.. its good. haha thats all I can say.

Hi Bitches! Okay I was kidding.
I haven't posted in awhile! School just resumed for me and it's been 2 weeks and I already have my first Public Holiday tomorrow! How awesome is that? Well, back to NOW. I just came back from Tekka Mall yet again for lunch. Had Briyani, AGAIN. And I suddenly thought to myself, of all the 3 main races in SG(malays, indians, chinese), I'd have to deduce that the Chinese have the healthiest foods!

Look at the Malay food in the market now; oil, oil and oil! Chicken with skin still attached, fried to the core, beef rendang, oil, coconut milk, oil. I mean, for the malays, You yourselves should know! As for the Indians, most of their foods have colouring! Briyani? Ermmm.. "sup tulang"(a.k.a bone marrow soup), their fried noodles and all that! oil would also be one of those things.

Now on to the chinese food. Yes, they have really unhealthy food as well like, pigs' organs soup, fried pigs' blood and what not( I dont really know. I dont eat all these). But putting all those aside, they have the biggest variety of almost oil-less soups, grilled food and what not. to be honest, I really love their noodle soups, mini hotpot noodles, fried fish noodles(which to be honest is the oiliest of the "soup family") and many more! So if You're a non-singaporean and reading this, do try the chinese food for healthy varieties, the indian food for awesome spice taste, and malay foods for taditional taste!
Thats all I can say about food! My main purpose today is to talk about the.. DRUMROLL. GRRRRRRRR

Apple iPad 2!

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been posting in awhile. I'm now back and with the update of the Apple iPad 2! It was realeased on 11th March 2011 in the western countries.

This model features a faster Dual-Core A5 processor, double the RAM, being thinner, ligther and has a front and back-view facing camera.This guy goes for USD499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version and You could also pick it up in 3G varieties(USD629 for 16GB) with up to 64GB of storage. You can get it in either black or white.

First unboxing, once You open the box, You'll see the iPad sitting snug right on top of the box. Putting it aside, You'll get the norm; USB wires for transfer, manuals(accessories), adaptor for the USB for charging and also the earpiece.

The front facing camera will work with face-time which means You can video-chat with your friends on the iPhone, iPad and what not. Apple also included Photobooth in the device but that does not need introductions. On the back You'll get the new 720p HD video camera that records videos at 30fps which You can also use for still photos.

The device is 33% thinner(88mm) and I've compared it with the iPhone. It's actually a hair thinner then the iPhone 4. It is also a little lighter at 589grams. The battery life remains the same as the previous generations, which is about 10 hours.

At the bottom, You will find a much larger speaker, which is definitely a good upgrade from the previous generation, especially in terms of placement. The back of the iPad, You will find that it has an aluminium finish, which I find makes it more comfortable and smoother then the first iPad.

In terms of online services, I'd just have to say that the iPad2 has a much faster loading time; 2 seconds, compared to 8 seconds in the first iPad. I do have to say though, dont expect the iPad2 to give You browsing speeds that a notebook can but I believe 2 seconds is really good enough especially if You're on-the-go and I'm guessing that it's going in that direction.

I guess that's pretty much it as for now.

Razer Megalodon 7.1 USB headset

Hi all! I'm back today for another review and for this razer product, I will go straigh to the review and thoughts about this product. But before that, just to let You know, this headset goes for a whopping 150USD.

Overall, I'd say that this headset is AWESOME. What makes it furthermore something I would definitely go for if I had the money is that it has a 7.1 SURROUND SOUND audio. I mean, I've heard of speakers of that "magnitude" but headsets? Dont You think its just insane? And trust me, I've tried this baby on(my friend's actually) and I fell in love with them almost immediately!

The overall look, design and appearance;
This baby has two different parts to it, mainly the headset and the "control box" as shown above. It's a plug-and-play headset and your computer can recognise it without having to download any softwares. The "control box", without saying, is where You control the Master volume, bass level and the microphone levels as well. Speaking of the mic, as You can see from the photo, there are 3 small buttons at the bottom basically showing, "mic mute", "mic sens(sensitivity)", "mic level".
At the top, You'll find a button saying "Maelstrom". And I'd say that I found it really interesting. Why? This button allows You to toggle between a standard 2.0 and a 7.1 surround system. Awesome much?

Now, on to the design of the headset. I believe at first look, You'll notice that there's quite a fair bit of padding around the headset. That will surely add up to me saying that it is EXTREMELY comfortable. The ear units are extendable, as all other headsets are. The mic is adjustable and raotates up to 270 degrees. Also, the mic has this sort of bendable material to match the shape of Your face. I would say that the material of this headset is rather sturdy and just adds on to the comfortability of it.

Moving on to the performance. I guess I've already said it. It doesnt just look great, it sounds better then it looks, seriously. I mean, its like Being in the game itself! You could litreally hear everything thats happening everywhere in the game!

Well, to end it off, I'd just like to say that to me, this headset is worth the money if You're a tech lover. Everything just adds up honestly. Its like having a 5-piece surround system glued to your ears! Definitely a MUST get for me.

Boy! Have I not had good food in awhile. But that later. Today my parents brought mu siblings and myself to Marina Bay Sands Skypark, or in layman's terms, MBS rooftop.

Well, MBS being one of the few tourist attractions in Singapore, would definitely come with a price. The entrance fee to the Skypark is $20 for adults, $14 for children aged 2 - 12(if i remember correctly) and $17 for Senior Citizens aged 65 and above. Let me just tell You more about what the Skypark has in store for You.

As You can see from the photos above, the Skypark would definitely have You opening Your eyes widely to admire the view from the 56th storey. Also, it has a swimming pool where You may feel that You're right at the edge of the building. There're jacuzzi's near the swimming pool area as well. A few restaurants and a souvenir shop to finish it all. Firstly, I'm not a normal Singaporean who likes to complain alot but. $20 is a little pricey. Let me explain why.

You pay $20 to go up to the skypark. You get the views and all that. And You think You can just enter the swimming pool. NO. You can't. Everything else that happens up there are only for guests. So technically, You pay $20 just to go up 56 storeys, feel the wind, and see what You've never really seen from Your apartment/home. Thats all. Nothing else. Really. Let me just summarise.

You pay $20 to go onto a super fast elevator/lift that goes up 56 storeys in almost the same period of time as my HDB flat lift goes up 8 storeys to see a nice view of Singapore's bustling city.

I would definitely recommend using that $20 for something more family-oriented, fun and what not. Oh! The only not-so-surprising thing was, I hardly saw Singaporeans up there. Why? Cuz Singaporeans hate paying. hahaha joke. -.- But seriously, the top was filled with tourists. Even hotel guests were mostly foreigners! But yea its kind of expected I guess.

Bottom line, go to Skypark only if You wanna take beautiful photos of overhead views

Thats all about Skypark!

Now on to what I had for lunch. We went to Tekka Mall after MBS(Irony? MBS > Tekka).

I've heard of the awesome Briyani they have there so I was pretty excited to eat there as it's been awhile since my family did. Honestly, the food we ordered was AWESOME. I cant really explain in detail as I dont review foods haha. But anyone who loves briyani should try the one at tekka. There are many but You have to know which to try. I FORGOT THE SHOP NAME unfortunately but well. shit happens. I would say the food there is the best I've tasted in awhile. Thus, try it with your family if You guys love Indian food :)

Beats Pro by Dr. Dre

Right off the bag I'd say this pair of headphones are not for everybody. It would be more sensible to use this pair if You were a Deejay or work in a club or use it for audio uses. They are advertised as being partly professional headphones or reference headphones. This pair would go for USD399 off the shelf.

I've had friends who use this and honestly, they've said that the quality isn't always on par with the pricetag that goes with the different models.

In terms of build quality, they're one of the most solid and well-built headphones I've seen/used. They're made of what seems like stainless steel material around the earcups and headband is very flexible. And being made of metal, it could add on to the weight of the headphones. I felt them pressing down on my head and maybe that needs getting used to.

The earcups are flipback-capable and this feature allows for Deejays to keep the headphones on their heads at all times! At the bottom there are 2 audio ports. The audio cable is detachable and You have either ports to choose from. The PLUS thing about this is that, You get to use the other unused port as an audio output and a friend can listen to the same thing You're listening to.

The spongey earcups provide a great noise isolation, especially if You're in a noisy environment, like in a club/gig.

One of the most important things about reference headphones are their ability to distinguish each sound of a track or each instrument of the song that's playing and the Beat Pro did an awesome job.

As far as strict quality sound goes, I've heard better from audio-technica's and seinheissers. The bass of the Beat Pro is well-defined, Mids are decent and the High's are excellent. Unfortunately though, sometimes the Bass overlaps the other sounds.

Finally, the Beats Pro would really do an awesome job if You're someone who listens to Hip Hop, Dance, D&B kind of songs as it'll really bring out the bass. Other than that, it's really not the headphones for You.

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Mouse

Sup guys! As I've promised, my first post would be a review on the mouse you see above. Its the Razer Mamba Wireless gaming mouse. And though its going for about USD130, I really wouldn't mind paying that hefty price for this mouse. Honestly, it's worth the money for a gamer, whether You're a full-time, part-time or leisure gamer.

First off, this mouse has been said to be the world's first authentic wireless gaming mouse. It's also known to be a hybrid mouse as it can be used both wireless and wired(for when You're charging it and need to use it). In the photos above, You can see that the mouse is basically placed on a "platform" when You first get it. In that "platform" box, You will get a drawer-like kind of opening where you can slot out the different parts of the whole mouse system. Inside the top box would be the chord for the mouse/charger, the lower box would contain the battery and battery cover to the mouse and the biggest box You see would have the charging platform for the mouse.

That's what this baby looks like out of the box and on to its charging platform. As for my own preference, I would definitely mostly use the mouse wireless-ly. The chord would then be connected to the charging platform and would light up with an awesomely cool blue LED. The mouse's scroll button would also light up with the same blue when powered up. As for those who prefer a wired mouse, You could directly connect the chord to the mouse, which would then automatically charge the mouse and at the same time, lets You use the mouse. Besides the charging/wired aspects of this mouse, it has a high arch to it and really feels great under the palm of Your hand and it is mighty easy to grip. The best part of it all, it has a rubbery feel to it! That increases the grip even more.

Basically, that's what You get on the outside of the mouse. Moving on to the inside, this mouse, though wireless has an insanely good response time of 1millisecond, compared to the standard wireless mice response time of what I heard, 8milliseconds! That almost sums up to virtually no lag. On top of that, You get a DPI value of up to 5600! You can actually change this value; range of 100 - 5600.

Also, it was said that You can have up to 14hours of continuous battery life(continuous most probably means hardcore gaming) AND a 72 hour "leisure" timing, like for when You don't use it for gaming.

There are 7 buttons on this crazy mouse and You can change what You wanna use them for after installing the software found. And here's the cool part, the mouse has a built in memory and whatever settings You change on your laptop/computer, the configuration is actually saved in the mouse itself, thus allowing You to bring the settings everywhere You go.

Mainly, thats all that is needed to be said about this mouse. This mouse can be found on www.razerzone.com or rather any computer appliance shops found near you.
